GARIBALDI VS ZOMBIES
"The graves are uncovered, the dead are raised;
Our martyrs are all resurrected:
Swords in the fist, laurels in the hair,
The flame and the name - of Italy on the heart."
Andrea Guglielmino (history) and Explosive Cartoonist - Fabrizio De Fabritiis (drawings and colors), lead us to rediscover the figure of Giuseppe Garibaldi, in a new "superheroic" and very tacky version. Famous for his courage, but also for his toughness, which contributed to fueling his legend as an invincible man, "The Hero of Two Worlds" will now fight against hordes of enemies, electric zombies and much more...
The project
The idea, bold and at the same time innovative, is to place in Italian history, in particular in the Risorgimento era which is full of intrigues and heroic figures, an exciting story, with an action and fantasy structure, imagining how "superheroes" the characters of our tradition, starting with Garibaldi, and comparing them with situations and characters from literary and cinematographic traditions usually kept at a distance, such as horror and science fiction. All seasoned with
abundant doses of humor and a touch of Italian steampunk.
GARIBALDI VS ZOMBIES, this is the title of the comic book that will be published by Emmetre Edizioni and which will inaugurate the "Altri Mondi" series, it will be a work that will amaze you and take you beyond the boundaries of the imaginable!
